Since it’s much easier and simpler to post something, I will try to make it my inspiratinonal omnium gatherum (nice word the dictionary gave me).

been really busy working at the agency the past few weeks. so again my blog died a little.
so now I’ll feed him a littel. we went on with our creative project “FISCHSEMMEL” and
made something nice an fun every week. so here you can see what I did:

FISCHSEMMEL NO.2

Again the Fischsemmel-crew started a creativ contest. Last weeks topic was “ineinandergreifen” (to mesh).
There were some things, I wanted to do. Something by hand and something with meaning.
For me, the conflict between Christianity and Islam is a pretty upsetting topic and I have my own personal opinion on this item…
At the end of the day everything is the same…especially in religion…

To release the serious thougts I drew some triangles on a piece of wood with nail polish. See how they mesh together

A few month a go (it was still summer) I met some great guys busking the street.
It was such a great performance placed in Hamburgs so called Hot Spot and the people
had so much fun for hours. What a joy on a friday night. Check them out on Facebook,
I’m sure there’s more to come!

They had a cardboard with their name on it. But you couldn’t read it. So I ask them.
DENMANTAU, that’s the craziest name for a band!
I decided to spread this name and offered them my help as an graphic designer.
For a start I made them a CD cover, so they could sell their music properly.
For the cover I developed a quick logo, which will be further elaborated.

Found a really nice creative agency located in Helsinki.
I enjoy the sophisticated style of Tsto.
Especially liked the Theatre posters and what they said about designing them: “Designing a theater poster is always an uplifting assignment. Compared to most commercial assignments, if designing for theatre productions looses in budget, it amply wins in terms of an intellectual challenge.”

Also the snowboard graphic for Burton is quite nice.

I met some great guys in Hamburg and we decided to start a creativ contest just for fun,
to keep the juice flowing. We named it FISCHSEMMEL , because we are two Bavarians and
two Hamburgers (hahahahaha)…(a Hamburger calls a sandwich with fish: “FischBRÖTCHEN”, but a Bavarian
calls it “FischSEMMEL”…so its the fish and its the Semmel).
We chose a topic every week and just start doing something…anything…just for fun.
This weeks theme was “OUTPUT”. I created a brand logo for delicious dog poop (vanilla flavor).
As I said: just for fun.
